I just got back from a nice, if not slightly rainy and misty, late evening ride. I left from the house knowing that I would likely be riding into some showers along the way. I'm glad I took the ride.
It amazes me how a change of time and/or weather during a familiar ride can change perception so dramatically. The case is even more true when riding a motorcycle. Your senses are heightened even more than during a normal clear day's ride, familiar places take on a new aura, familiar sights change to something not seen on previous rides.
I am ,again, glad took the ride. The bike and I are home on one piece, I enjoyed myself and released some stress. How could it not have been a good ride. On top of it all, it felt like a new adventure. Just what I needed.
