It's been a while since I updated the site. It seems I'm not a very good blogger, or more correctly, not a very active blogger. Well, I apologize for that. So with that, here's another [un]exciting update from yours truly.
Alaska Trip
- The AK trip is still a go, but I've pushed it back to 2012. Reason being that I feel I need more time to adequately prepare for such a large undertaking (large for me, anyway).
Bike
- I've been putting a substantial amount of work into the bike. Some things are just maintenance items, and some are just upgrades/farkles.
- Finished items include oil change, and new tires.
- TODO: oil cooler, wheel bearings, rear brakes, new front fender, relocate heated grip switch, replace rear shocks.
- Possibly on list: New LED indicators and brake/tail light, Pelican cases and trunk, case guards.
Gear
- I have a new helmet on the way as I type: HJC CL-SP Barbwire Helmet and mirrored shield to go with it.
- I've been considering a set of Bohn Bodyguard Adventure Pants and Bohn Xtreme Heavy-Duty Armored Shirt. I just need to convince myself to spend the money on them.
- I've also been considering getting a VIO POV 1.5M camera system. Again, I need to convince myself to spend the money on it. It may have to wait though.
