It’s been a while, but I’m still here, alive, and kicking! Winter has taken it’s toll, but I’m fighting back and pushing through this dark time of year. OK, so I’m exaggerating a bit, but let’s face it, whether you ride or not, winter just isn’t the ideal time of year.
So, here’s the thing. My car has some kind of clunk going on in the front left (bad ball joint/tie rod/tie rod end, etc…), it recently decided to start smoking (as in oil smoke, burning oil). I’m hoping it’s not rings, and just something simple. All three bikes demand some maintenance type attention, too.
Yeah, not having a garage definitely has it’s drawbacks. The good thing is I can use a friends garage anytime I like, although I prefer not to. It’s a “hate to accept favors” kind of thing. Yeah, I know I’m too proud. Well, I have the car parts I need (bad ball joint/tie rod/tie rod end, air filter, PCV valve, valve cover gaskets). All I need is the time and place to do it. Now I need to buy the parts I need for the bikes. Those are my babies, ya know, so I NEED to take care of them.
With that said, I’m more than ready for nice weather again. Spring can’t get here fast enough. I have tons of things to get done.
